The Department is equipped for


1. Routine Haematological examination
2. Routine examination of Urine and stool
3. Biochemical analysis of blood
4. Histopathological examination of specimens
5. Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology and Exfoliative Cytology
6. Culture and sensitivity of Tubercule bacilli and other respiratory
organisims
7. Direct demonstration of organism including T.B. bacilli by
Immunoflourence
8. Sputum culture
9. DOPE test, ABG, Electrolyte
10. Pleural fluid analysis


Teaching Responsibilities
1. Lecture delivered to DTCD students on Pathology and
Microbiology
2. Practical and demonstration classes to DTCD students on
different subjects of Pathology and Microbiology
3. Conduction of examination of DTCD students in Pathology and
Microbiology
