Future plan:

v To create environment to empower each individual studying or related to thoracic surgery to reach their professional goal.

v To increase number of seminar & symposiums to make general people know about the activity of thoracic surgeons & raise awareness regarding diseases of chest which can be concluded to major thoracic surgery.

v To increase research work from early detection to surgical procedures & their outcomes to improve the quality of work.

Recommendation:

Well-equipped infrastructure is a must to run any department effectively.In the Super specialty Hospital like NIDCH, our department is over worked & understaffed with heavy patient load.Authority should take immediate initiatives for creating the essential new regular posts of the teaching staffs and others for the Department of thoracic surgery in NIDCH and other medical colleges throughout the country.
